WELCOME to ADELPHI ARCHIVE


A digital image library for publishers, authors, newspapers, magazines, picture desks, sports editors, museums, picture researchers and anyone else searching for photographs of Yorkshire County Cricket Club. The archive contains photographs and images of Yorkshire CCC Players, Grounds, Teams and Match pictures from the Club's formation in 1863 through to the 1960s. A limited post-1970 archive can also be searched upon request.
 

 

Formats available

 Adelphi Archive can supply images in TIFF, JPEG and other digital formats as required. Charges/fees upon request.

Yorkshire CCC is arguably the best known County Cricket Club in the world. Players A to Z

A comprehensive catalogue of players to have represented Yorkshire from 1863. Head and shoulders shots and in some instances action photos of those cricketers that forged the Club's success down the years.

 

 

Teams/Groups and Ground Images

 

 

Source photos of Yorkshire teams and groups from the 1870s onwards. Covering all the great Yorkshire sides - from Lord Hawke's team of the 'Golden Age', the mighty line-up in the 1930s under Brian Sellers, through to the successful sides of the 1960s led by Vic Wilson and Brian Close.

 

 

Historic images, such as the 1896 Yorkshire team (above) that recorded the highest Championship innings total (887) at Edgbaston.
